This privacy policy applies to the Owen O'Driscoll Website, Farm Management App and the TAMS → Farm Manager Chrome browser extension.
1. Who we are
Owen O'Driscoll Farm Management operates a private farm data management platform and associated tools for internal use. Contact: info@owenodriscoll.com
2. Website
Contact form
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with any third party. We retain contact form submissions for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted.
Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to collect anonymised information about how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, general location by country/region, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

3. Farm Portal
The Farm Manager platform stores agricultural data (farm records, soil samples, livestock, fertilizer applications, and financial records) entered by authorised users. This data is:
- Stored securely on private servers
- Accessible only to authorised users with valid credentials
- Never sold or shared with third parties
- Used solely for the purposes of farm management and reporting
Contact information (name, email, phone) provided by users is used only for account management and communication related to the platform.
4. TAMS → Farm Manager Chrome Extension
The TAMS → Farm Manager extension is a private, unlisted tool that assists authorised users in importing TAMS application data from the Irish Department of Agriculture portal (agfood.agriculture.gov.ie) into Farm Manager.
What the extension does
- Reads TAMS application data displayed on the TAMS portal page the user is already viewing
- Opens a new Farm Manager tab with that data pre-filled
What the extension does NOT do
- Does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data
- Does not track browsing activity or web history
- Does not communicate with any external servers
- Does not use remote code — all extension code is bundled locally
Data read from the TAMS portal is passed directly to Farm Manager within the user's own browser session and is not stored by the extension itself.
5. Cookies
The Farm Manager website uses session cookies for authentication purposes only. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
6. Data retention
Farm data is retained for as long as the account is active or as required by Irish agricultural record-keeping regulations. Users may request deletion of their data by contacting us.
7. Your rights
